from what i see…no, but this is football and not a play and unlike nigeria they take matters into their own hands!

  2. The Abstract Says:

ARGENTINA are still in the hunt for a place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals despite losing their last two qualifying matches but their chance is severely dented as they dropped to 5th place in the South American zone qualifying standings. they must now win their last two qualifying matches in October 2009 against PERU (home) & URUGUAY (away) & hope that both CHILE & ECUADOR do not win their last two matches to qualify at least in 4th place in their qualifying group.
if they finish in 5th place, ARGENTINA will have to square-off against the 4th place team from the North, Central America & the Carribbean in a two legged inter-continental play-off for a place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals.
their latest setback came against PARAGUAY in Asuncion on Wednesday, 09 September 2009 as ARGENTINA were beaten 1-0 with the winning goal scored by Nelson Valdez (28′).
