absolutely. Soccer has been expanding rapidly in South Africa, and Africa in general. They have the resources to put on a great tournament, and the will. Furthermore it will help boost africas deveoping economy, and spread the growth of football dramatically in africa. It also make the World Cup A more global Event, as it will now have been hald in every Continent other than Ociana.

I have mixed feelings about this pick. On one side I guess it is good for FIFA and for the sport of soccer to get more exposure in the African continent. World Cup after World Cup, there is always one or two teams from this region of the world that gives us a pleasant surprise.
However, there is still a lot of civil unrest in this part of the world. I guess I am OK with this selection. I still think that it should’ve gone to another region of the world that appreciates the sport a bit more.

Yes! it is a great place i live here. I have lived in States too. There are challenges but the country can overcome them.
