it seem like spain is the only danger for turkey
we will play in spetmeber 6 against armenia
and the next sepbtember 10 against belgium
do you think we can win against those teams?

will turkey even add more brazilian players to their team. without aurelio they would not even have qualified for the euro. a lot of people don’t know that. they also don’t know the tremendous job aurelio did for turkey in defensive midfield in the euro. but the fact of the matter is that he was neither born in turkey, nor did he grow up there. he is brazilian!
so what I am trying to say is that turkey would not stand a chance if they competed with turkish players. if they add even more players from other countries and go against the entire concept of this international competition then maybe. but where’s the respect in that?

I really surprise with Turkey performance in EURO 2008. They really have played good football. It is very unlucky they lost the semifinal but no need to feel ashamed because they have done something really exceptional in the tournament. Well done to Turkey. So if they can play like that in the qualifying I see no reason for them to not qualify.

SPAIN is the favourite to qualify from European Group 5 which also contains TURKEY. on current form, TURKEY should finish in 2nd place but then they have to face another European group runners-up to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

second place at least should be assured for turkey behind spain.
I am not sure if the second team is directly qualified or has to play another second from a different group.
