Two months of inactivity and a move to Germany have not slowed the goal scoring express that is Edson Buddle.
The former Los Angeles Galaxy forward, who tallied 19 times in MLS play last year, opened his account with his new club, FC Ingolstadt, on Friday in his first game with the German second-division side.
The 76th-minute volley (video below) lifted Ingolstadt to a 1-0 lead over visiting Duisburg, but Buddle’s relegation-threatened club couldn’t hold the advantage and wound up settling for a 1-1 draw.
