No Franck Ribery, no problem. Missing their most important offensive weapon due to suspension, visiting Bayern Munich nevertheless had no trouble with host Olympique Lyon in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg, easing to next month’s decider, 3-0 on the day and 4-0 on aggregate, thanks to three goals from just about every part of Croatian forward Ivica Olic.
Bayern advances to play either Inter Milan or Barcelona, who will decide their semifinal at the Camp Nou on Wednesday. Inter holds a 3-1 advantage. The Champions League final is May 22 in Madrid.
