Their youth teams have been excellent winning so many games and youth world cups; Ghana has played like king in 2006; Ivory Coast is getting scarier with Drogba, B.Kalou, S. Kalou, Zokora, Eboue, Toure; South Africa is now coached by former brazil coach.

I love this question. Well for starters, just because Nigeria did not make it to last years world cup doesn’t change the fact that they are good. Nigeria and Cameroon are the 11th best soccer teams in the world. Africa owns this world cup, and a s a fellow Nigerian, i know Africa wont let us down. maybe south Africa wont win, but i know, the competition will be fierce, and hopefully Nigeria makes it this year, so that we can show our soul rivals (Brazil) that we can whip their butt. well the brazil coach is helping and im pretty sure we will fare better than we ever have before but im not going to be here for the 2010,our counry is not equiped to handle it,yet.

They need more level, though almost all african teams are really strong and full of energy, but not tactics and the classy needed for football. A good national team, with good tactics and scheme will beat them, for sure.

i think if it was in somewhere else it would have been better. a place like europe because soccer fans are more there. and i want to see the games so if i want to go somewhere the beautifulest place in the world is europe.

Im not a big soccer fan but i think that ivory coast and south africa will make it to the elemnation round but i doubt they will advance very far past that. Neither team has much experience that far in the world cup,
