This morning, in a Florida courtroom in Miami-Dade County, an attorney for Mexican singer Paulina Rubio appeared before a judge in response to charges stemming from a June 25 traffic accident in which the performer allegedly defied and verbally assaulted police, forcing them to handcuff and detain her.
Rubio was not at fault in the accident.
