Landon Donovan and a “very angry” Charlie Davies each had plenty to say, FIFA released the preliminary rosters for all 32 teams and U.S. opponents England and Algeria revealed their ambitions as the countdown to the World Cup finals has hit 29 days.
The fallout over Davies’ exclusion from the list of players that U.S. coach Bob Bradley will take to Princeton next week continued to settle, and it has become clear that Davies doesn’t share Bradley’s opinion regarding his readiness. Let the pointless and distracting controversy begin.
