    Well, obviously it’s not the same thing, but when the women’s world cup had to be moved out of China at short notice because of the SARS scare it was held in the United States. That would probably be an option again, just because the US has the stadiums, infrastructure, and accomodations to handle a world cup already in place. I don’t think it will happen, though.

    Spain is the best runner up at this moment.
    Some other countries have shown interest like Mexico and USA.

    yes there are many countries that would be ready to host the World Cup if South Africa can’t
