Im wondering who will be the 4 teams in the semi finals and the 2 teams iin the finals. Dont just put teams that u dont even know are good. like argentina. i doubt that they will make it very far in the world cup. just cuz they have a good record sont juts put them?

Spain are the favourites but often freeze in World Cups and i can see them going out in the quarters. Also, favourites rarely win tournaments as proven by Argentina in 2006.
Brazil have a brilliant world cup record and have a lot of strength in depth which wiill certainly assist them. I can’t see any team outplaying them.
Germany and Holland are very strong tournament teams, particularly useful in the knockout stages. I can see one of them knocking Spain out.
Then there is always a surprise in World cups - South Korea, Turkey and Croatia in recent times prove this. I have gone for Ivory Coast as they have a number of star playyers and so it could be there year for a good run. It could be a completely different team though such as USA (brilliant Confederations Cup), Mexico (much underrated by European teams), Ghana (another strong African team) or Serbia (winning a qualification group containing France shows their pedigree)
Being English i would love England to get to the final but it seems unlikely at the moment. A quarter final defeat by the Germans or Dutch on penalties seems much more likely.
Having said all this though, it is way to early to be considering this as there are still about 10 world cup spots still up for grabs!

To be honest its too early for this question , when the groups are drawn then it’ll be easier to start to figure out who might make the final four.
England to make the semi’final assuming Rooney and Gerrard are both fit and the fourth semi finalist …Spain…of course as mentioned previously until we know the groups we can’t begin to work out who might make the semi’s.
Saying that I think the Argies will implode because of Maradona ,he’s actually a very weak type of person.(great footballer-horrible person)
You can never discount the Brazilians or the Germans and assuming they avoid each other I can see them both making the semi final and while personally I’d hate to see a final between these two nations it would not surprise if it happened that way.

Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Spain.
I put Argentina because they have good players like Cambiasso and Messi…… Besides no one expected to see Italy and France in the Final. Italy even had a hard time qualifying to the world cup. Tie against a weak U.S.A beat Australia by a fake penalty and still manage to win the world cup. While France players seem kind of old. Tied against Korea and tied against Switzerland. But manage to take out Brazil again and reach the finals.
So this is why i put Argentina in the semifinal

We don’t know what the groups are. If the two strongest contenders clash before the semi finals then only 1 team will progress.
But rite now, Spain, Brazil, Holland, and England are my best 4. I think Spain will beat Brazil in the finals.

Of course, nobody has any idea at this stage. We have to see the draw first. I hope I am wrong about this, would be nice to see some new blood in there.
