Mexico and Portugal have good chance. But i have been a Brazil fan forever even though i live in the us. I hope Mexico wins if Brazil doesn’t.

I’m an American but I’d be crazy to say they’ll win. I like Portugal for no reason i just like them. So that’s who i think will win.

Lets see how many thumbs down I get. Go US!! Actually, the US won’t be bad in 2010. Feilhaber, Altidore, Adu, Dempsey, Howard, Onyewu, and all the other talented youngsters will be vets by then (with the exception of Altidore, he’ll be 20. This kid has WAY too many upsides). I also think Mexico will be very good. Gio Dos Santos, Guardado, Ochoa. Finally, look out for England. They finally got a good manager (no matter how many times I said he was an idiot, or words to that effect, when he was in Madrid) and they seem to have great organization. For pete’s sake, Capello got Gerarrd and Lampard to work together! And then of course, you have Italy, Brazil and Argentina, who are always favorites. 2010 is a toss up as far as I’m concerned.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Portugal won. With all that creative talent they have (Ronaldo, Quaresma, Nani, Simao, Deco) I’m sure they’ll find a proper formation to utilize them properly.
Put Ronaldo as a centre forward with Nani and Simao in the wings. Quaresma and Deco coming up from the midfield and allow them to interchange roles freely. This would terrorize any defense in the world.
If not them, then I’ll go with Argentina.
