I think he will. Regardless of his form or what team he’s playing for. I think the fact how has so many endorsements and is a worldwide iconic figure is a big factor. I think these companies he is sponsered by will offer the english FA a nice sum. The contracts may say
”4,000,000 if beckham plays x amount games or something”

AHHHHH!! (responding to the first answerer) Becks too old?? NO WAY! Have you seen him play lately? Just because he is over 30 does NOT mean he could not be a vital asset to the English squad in South Africa.

I think he will be on the bench, not starting. He has been used in the second half when everyone’s legs are starting to weaken. Becks is the world’s greatest Holding Midfielder and knows when to supply the perfect pass or slam the ball from 60 yards out. He will always be on the squad, until he really is physically unable to play.
However, David has, shall we say, a few “personality issues” that can put off those in managers who badly need him not to have any issues.
