portugal’s qualification to the 2010 world cup largely depends on them winning their last few games. if they can turn around their fortunes, they will surely make it to south africa. also, if they can’t qualify outright, they just have to ensure that they are one of the best 8 second placed teams in the qualifiers to be able to enter a two-legged playoffs. portugal can still make it via that route.

They probably won’t make it. The only players that stand out in that team are Cristiano Ronaldo and Deco but it wont be enough to get them through!
